Heli-Skiing - ITALY - Valgrisenche
Becca di Tos 3100 m

A variable descent of medium difficulty. A significant vertical drop of over 2100mt. At the top part of the run there is a large glacier from which we traverse over a series of moraine to the gully at the beginning of the pastures of Boregne. From here we descend on the right into the larch woods then fir trees up to the village of Champencon and on to Chamin at 1200mt. A mini bus will then come and pick up the group from this point. This descent requires a good snow cover to be able to arrive at the pick up point easily. Vertical drop over 2100m.

.

Feluma 3213 m

A variable descent of medium difficulty. Open slopes with a consistent steepness. The final part presenting no problems once there is a good snow cover, otherwise there are different possibilities of return to the base – either by mini bus or using the ski lifts nearby.

.

Vallone di Plontaz 2800 m

An easy descent, very wide open slopes with a limited steepness. No risk of avalanche whatsoever, an ideal area after the heavy snow falls at the beginning of the season.

.

Rabuigne 3000 m

Large landing area with a more demanding run at the beginning, turning into a varied descent. The middle section is not possible to ski due to the flatness of the Vallone del Boc, therefore there are various trails through the trees to contribute to a fun descent down to the base.

.

Colle di Rabuigne 3194 m

A simple descent requiring stable snow conditions to be able to be skied. The first part of the descent is relatively steep, continuing down to the classic itinerary of Rabuigne.

.

Colle di Invergnan 3067 m

An easy descent, used often after very heavy snow falls to test the surrounding slopes. Particular attention needs to be paid to the north face of the Grande Rousse which is part of the first slope. At half way the descent joins that of Giasson.

.

Giasson 3215 m

A simple classic descent that descends in a north east direction towards the pastures of Monforciaz. Some of the descents on the north side lead to the valley of Rifugio Bezzi and can be quite demanding depending on the snow conditions. In the upper part of the run there are a number of large open crevasses, it is important to remember the possible risk factor in this area in certain snow and wind conditions.

.

Grande Traversiere 3496 m

An interesting landing point with excellent views over the Val di Rhemes. Large open spaces for great skiing. Some descents through the middle of the glacier formations for a demanding descent. Particular attention paid to conditions in this glacier area.

.

Becca della Traversiere 3337 m

A descent not over demanding, wide open spaces, easy slopes in a wilderness ambient, remains without tracks until the spring. A glacier descent with very few crevasses with interesting descent options.

.

Truc Blanc 3405 m

A simple descent usually used in the spring, or otherwise combined with an ascent with skins up to Giasson in the Hel-irandonee programme, which departs from San Martino at apProx. 2900mt.

.

Maurin 3100 m

An interesting landing area with descents ideal for snowboarders. Some very demanding descents possible with particular attention being paid to wind blown accumulations of snow.

.

Ormelune 3278 m

A mountain wilderness, great descents with the option to descend into France at St. foy. Slopes ideal for snowboarders – up until the final section which leads to the pastures of Grande Alpe. Abundant snow conditions, snow laden cornices, varying steepness of the slopes all adds to a demanding and interesting descent.

.

Mont Arpevielle 2963 m

A simple descent, nevertheless with a certain risk factor regarding the snow conditions. A descent used when visibility is low at altitude.

.

Chateau Blanc 3408 m

Also this descent has a fabulous panorama, ideal steepness both in winter and spring conditions. There is a significant vertical drop as exceeds 1900m. Particular attention is paid to the avalanche risk of Becca di Planival at the end of the run. There is a mini bus pick up at the end of the run.

.

Ruitor 3485 m

Large open spaces, from the peak there is a breathtaking 360° view, from here you can see Monte Bianco, Monte Rosa, Matterhorn and Gran Paradiso. You can also see the ski lifts at the Gran Motte in Tignes and behind, the Barre des Ecrins. A classic descent down to Bonne, fun and variable, with a number of alternatives of which some are quite demanding. Vertical drop : 1680m.
